Tasnuva Orchi is a Senior Associate on the Data Science Team at The Rockefeller Foundation. With a background in data visualization, natural language processing, and statistical analysis, Tasnuva helps support the team’s analytics portfolio where she champions equitable and ethical data practices.
Her journey at The Rockefeller Foundation began as a Princeton Project 55 Fellow in 2019. She has since contributed to a diverse spectrum of projects. She aided in the implementation of Covid-19 Testing, performed analysis on Regenerative Agriculture practices, and pushed forward data disaggregation efforts.
Beyond her technical expertise, Tasnuva is a fervent advocate for women’s equality, especially for educational opportunities in South Asia. She brings to her role not only her professional skills, but also a deep commitment to social justice and empowerment.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Tasnuva worked at the United States Trade Representative’s Office, where she honed her skills in data analysis and policy assessment.
Tasnuva holds a BA from Princeton University and an MA from Columbia University.
