Project: “While I was Listening – Living at the Intersection with ordinary women doing extraordinary things”
Latanya Mapp Frett is the CEO and President of Global Fund for Women and the former Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Global. She has received many honors and awards, including two Esteemed Meritorious Honor Awards from the U.S. government and the highest honor in civil service, the Superior Honor Award, from the U.S. State Department. As a lawyer and women’s rights activist, Mapp Frett came to Bellagio in September 2022 to write a new book about her decades of experience witnessing how women leaders are driving some of the most profound changes we’ve seen in modern history to advance gender justice and social equality around the world. Her book, “The Everyday Feminist” will be published March 1, 2023.
