Yesterday, the United States and rest of the world received some heartening news about the response to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has taken so many lives and upended livelihoods in the United States and around the world.
Pfizer announced it has seen an effective response to a vaccine in an ongoing trial. Meanwhile, President-elect Joe Biden announced the formation of a Transition Covid-19 Advisory Board, which includes leading public health experts, to inform and shape the incoming administration’s plans and policies.
Each of these developments promises to accelerate the response to the Covid-19 pandemic. As progress is made, RF will continue to work to ensure there’s equity in access to advances in testing, tracing, and – when they’re available – vaccine solutions. We will not rest until the Covid-19 pandemic is over for everyone, including the most vulnerable.
