Project: “Fiscal sops in personal taxation – Will it help the Green cause?”
Shailendra Kumar is a visionary financial journalist and businessman. He visited Bellagio in April 2023 to design tax incentives to reduce carbon footprints and coax citizens to adapt their daily consumption patterns and care more for their local environment. Shailendra is the founder and CEO of Taxindiaonline (TIOL), a knowledge-driven company that acts as a media watchdog for Indian tax and trade policies. He is also Chairman of the TIOL Knowledge Foundation, a forum to cultivate the culture of thought leadership in the economic and taxation domains, and a Trustee of the TIOL National Taxation Awards, which annually identifies and celebrates ‘Model Taxpayers’ to publicly encourage tax payment and legal compliance in society.
