Project: “Feminist Leadership: A Field Guide”
Samantha Karlin is an expert in women’s leadership, as well as a widely-published writer, and podcaster. She came to Bellagio in October 2023 to work on a book about feminist leadership, the seeds of which were formed when she hosted the convening “A Future for All” on gender equality and systems change at the Bellagio Center in 2018. Samantha is currently the CEO of Empower Global, which provides training for global companies on inclusive leadership, women’s leadership, and cross-cultural teamwork. Previously, she served as the Director of Global Engagement at Ashoka, built coalitions for the Hillary for America campaign, and managed the women’s issues portfolio for the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo.
