Project: “Yes, You’re a Caregiver Too. A Care Manifesto”
Ai-jen Poo is an award-winning organizer, author, and feminist who is a nationally recognized expert on caregiving, the future of work, and what’s at stake for women of color. She has been recognized among Fortune’s 50 World’s Greatest Leaders and Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World, and was the recipient of the 2014 MacArthur “Genius” Award. Ai-jen came to Bellagio in May 2023 to draft a book of stories from the frontlines of the movement to transform care in America. She is currently the President of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, Executive Director of Caring Across Generations, Senior Advisor to Care in Action, Co-Founder of SuperMajority, and a Trustee of the Ford Foundation.
