The Bellagio Center Residency Communications Toolkit

Welcome to the communications toolkit for The Rockefeller Foundation’s Bellagio Center Residency Program.

We encourage you to share your journey and showcase your place among the distinguished group of scholars, artists, and practitioners who have been part of the Bellagio residency. Please remember that all communications about your Residency that use the Bellagio or Foundation name or logo and that are not explicitly permitted below must come to the Foundation for review and approval. We expect all communications to be clear that while the Foundation is providing support for your Project, it is not responsible for your Project, and does it endorse the contents of your Project.

This toolkit offers resources for:

  • Newly Accepted Residents: Announce your selection and share the news across your networks.
  • Resident Alumni: Stay connected with the Bellagio Network and The Rockefeller Foundation, and share the impact of your residency across your networks.

For New Residents

Announce that you were selected as a Bellagio Center resident:

  1. Update Your Online Profiles: Add the residency to your website bio, LinkedIn, and Wikipedia page using the format “The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center Residency [YEAR].”
  2. Share on Social Media: Announce your residency using the format “20XX @RockefellerFdn #RFBellagioResident” (see sample posts below for inspiration).

For Resident Alumni

Stay connected with the Bellagio Network and The Rockefeller Foundation:

  1. Join the Bellagio Alumni Community on LinkedIn: Stay connected with fellow alumni and keep up with the latest news from The Rockefeller Foundation. In addition to joining our LinkedIn group, we encourage you to add your affiliation to your LinkedIn profile using these step by step instructions.
  2. Highlight Your Experience on Social Media:  Post about your residency and completed project using the hashtag #RFBellagio to share your achievements and engage with the network.
  3. Update Your Bio: Include your Bellagio residency on your website bio and Wikipedia page using the format “In [YEAR], [NAME] participated in The Rockefeller Foundation’s Bellagio Center Residency, where [he, she, they] worked on [X] project.”
  4. Share Project Updates:  Send any updates on your Bellagio-related work to BellagioNetwork@rockfound.org. We may feature your work through The Rockefeller Foundation’s communications channels.
