Big Bet: Integrate nutritious food, wellness, and workforce training to improve worker health and economic stability.
Project: A Better Way Grocers provide access to affordable and healthy food to underserved communities through their mobile grocery store and community market. It also offers various educational resources, including integration with health clinics, schools, and workplaces to promote healthy eating habits and dietary literacy. By merging food access and healthcare, this project ensures that workers can improve their health, reduce chronic illnesses, and gain valuable skills to build a healthier, more resilient community.
