Time and again, whether as head of state, vice president, senator, or citizen, Joe Biden has put our nation first. On behalf of The Rockefeller Foundation, I want to thank President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden for their tireless dedication to the United States, to the values so many of us share, and the opportunity everyone deserves.
To promote humanity’s well-being, the Foundation has long worked closely with those in the private and public sector, including the last several U.S. presidential administrations. President Biden helped expand the Covid response and economic support so the United States and world could recover from the pandemic. He invested in communities so that opportunity could be universal and sustainable. President Biden proved that when America leads on climate change, everyone can benefit. And he made sure that America stood up for what was right whenever necessary and for the most vulnerable wherever they lived.
President Biden has made decisions that reflect his unique combination of patriotism and persistence, kindness and character.
