Where is Big Bets for America?
Big Bets for America moves across the country because America’s best ideas do too.
The convening series launched in November 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We chose the American Heartland because it’s a region often overlooked in national conversations, yet central to the country’s economic resilience and civic identity. Set in the Oklahoma City’s revitalized West Village District, the inaugural convening celebrated ingenuity rooted in manufacturing, entrepreneurship, and community-led Renewal.
Next, the series went to Baltimore in April 2026. Baltimore represents a city at an inflection point, where long-standing challenges are being met with bold leadership, cross-sector collaboration, and a renewed sense of momentum. Set against a backdrop of downtown revitalization and community-driven investment, the convening highlighted how cities can align capital, policy, and local innovation to expand access to jobs, strengthen neighborhoods, and unlock pathways to shared prosperity.
The third stop was Cleveland in June 2026. Long known as one of America’s great industrial cities, Cleveland is writing a new chapter, one defined by innovation, workforce transformation, and community-led investment. The city embodies how legacy manufacturing regions can adapt and thrive by bringing together public, private, and philanthropic leaders around a shared vision for inclusive economic growth. The convening showcased bold investments in workforce development, site readiness, housing, AI, and civic partnerships that are positioning Cleveland, and communities like it, to compete in the economy of the future.
