Felicity Tan

Former Director

Felicity Tan is a Director for Asia at The Rockefeller Foundation, where she leads advocacy in the region and manages relationships with grantees, partners, allies, and media. She works with our initiative teams in Bangkok, Nairobi and New York to develop strategies across the Asia region, as well as manages the Foundation’s policy and advocacy portfolio across East and Southeast Asia.

Felicity joins us from APCO Worldwide in Shanghai and New York, where she led global advocacy campaigns and coalition efforts across a variety of issues, including childhood nutrition, sustainable supply chains, the refugee crisis, climate change, and inclusive development, as well as guided corporations in stakeholder affairs and market navigation between Asian countries and the United States. Previously, she was a journalist in China and Southeast Asia, a press associate for a UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague, and worked for the election campaign of a former Philippine head-of-state. Originally from The Philippines, she holds a BS in journalism from Boston University, summa cum laude, and an MSc in politics and communication with distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
