Tachit Chairat joined The Rockefeller Foundation in November 2019. As a member of the Power Initiative team, he works with staff, grantees and partners to enabling the last mile connection, bringing the electricity to the most rural places where electricity is not there or to make it more reliable. With his background and experience from large utility power companies and consultancies in the energy market, Tachit brings another set of skill and knowledge into the Power Team, enabling the team to dig deeper into data and technology innovation for supporting the electrification in places, bringing down the costs and creating more reliable electricity supply to the customers.
Tachit holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Master for General Management from Mahidol University.
