Shaily Jha is a policy researcher who has worked extensively on access to clean cooking energy and livelihoods with a focus on gender and social inclusion in India. Her work has centered around understanding the interlinkages between poverty, inequality, and access to energy. She has formerly worked with the Council on Energy, Environment, and Water, where she led the work on integrating a gender lens in Powering Livelihoods, an initiative to catalyze India’s rural economy through clean energy-based solutions.
