Oren Ahoobim

Partner, Dalberg Advisors

Oren is a Partner in Dalberg’s New York office and co-leads the firm’s Environment Practice and Cities Practice, advising on strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as innovations to drive inclusive and equitable urban development.

Oren’s climate and environment expertise spans across a number of sectors, including renewable energy finance, access to energy, low-carbon sustainable development strategies, conservation finance, fisheries management, and climate finance. His urban development work focuses on strategic planning to advance economic mobility and racial equity. Oren helps lead Dalberg’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force, identifying opportunities for Dalberg to better advance the firm’s core DEI values internally and externally.

Prior to Dalberg, Oren worked for Frontier Strategy Group (FSG), a consulting and information services firm focused on emerging markets, and Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman).

Oren holds a BA and PhD in Economics from Stanford University, with a focus on energy, environmental policy, and sustainable development. He has served as an Instructor of Economics and Mathematics at Stanford University, and as an Adjunct Professor of Energy and Environmental Sustainability at the New York University Stern School of Business.
