Nick Spence

Former Communications Officer

Nick Spence joined The Rockefeller Foundation in 2019. As a Communications Officer, he is responsible for supporting the Communications and Program Influence & Campaigns teams by coordinating work in media relations, brand management, digital communications, and influence campaigns to drive impact and enhance the visibility and understanding of the Foundation’s work and brand.

Before joining the Foundation, Nick helped drive external media relations and social media strategy at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the world’s largest professional services firms.

Previously, Nick was part of the inaugural Center for Innovation and Engagement at Univision where he helped to build targeted cross-platform strategies to promote flagship editorial content across several publications. He has also worked with several global brands to secure top-tier media placements and was a recipient of the Bulldog Media Relations Award for Best Investment, Banking & Financial Services Campaign (2017).

Nick received a B.A in Public Relations and Popular Culture Studies from Western Kentucky University.
