Kirsten Eiler

Former Director

Kirsten Eiler joined The Rockefeller Foundation in 2019. As Director, Integrated Operations for the Power & Climate team, she leads on developing strategic direction and providing operational oversight for the team, including budget and performance management.

Passionate about building strong organizations and effective programs that deliver results, Kirsten brings a wealth of experience from over a decade in the municipal government and non-profit sectors overseeing program design and implementation, business process improvements, and policy. In the course of her career, Kirsten has held several roles managing strategic initiatives and overhauling operations including at the New York City Department of Finance where she supported the coordination, consolidation, and modernization of the City’s payment systems.

Kirsten holds a Masters of Science with Merit in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College with a bachelor’s in Urban Studies and History.
