Kappie Farrington

Associate Director

As a strategy associate at the Rockefeller Foundation, Kappie Farrington helped shape the strategic direction of the U.S. Youth Employment Initiative. Her work had a particular focus on the ways that private sector partnerships and technological innovation can catalyze social change.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Kappie was a Strategy Director at Undercurrent, a management consulting firm that helped legacy companies adapt to the organizational and technological shifts of the 21st century. While there, she led projects to build the innovation capacity of the firm’s Fortune 100 clients. Before Undercurrent, she worked as a digital strategist at Agency by Others and as a researcher at Heifer International.

Kappie received her B.A. in French and Global Development Studies from the University of Virginia. She currently lives in Brooklyn, where she indulges her love of hot sauce and standup comedy.
