Jonathan James Gonzalez joined The Rockefeller Foundation in November 2018 and currently serves as a Program Officer on the U.S. Equity & Economic Opportunity team’s economic policy grants portfolio. His focus within the economic policy unit is on elevating the voices of folks doing important community-based work across the country that advances the economic stability and mobility of low-wage workers.
Prior to joining the Foundation, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Management Consultant focused on strategy development, business process transformation, and data governance work for clients in the financial services and telecommunications industries. Prior to his time at PwC, he was part of the Wells Fargo Regional Foundation’s program team where he participated in underwriting grants supporting neighborhood revitalization efforts in the Greater Philadelphia Region. As a native of Camden, NJ, he is deeply passionate about work that focuses on providing disenfranchised individuals with the opportunities they fundamentally deserve to achieve their greatest potential, regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds.
