Jessica Freireich

Former Managing Director & Senior Advisor

Jessica Freireich joined the Rockefeller Foundation in 2013. As Managing Director of Organizational Performance, she provides a strategic management role in facilitating decisions related to resource allocation and progress toward institutional goals. She supports the chief operating officer in his responsibility for portfolio management by partnering closely across all program and operational teams and enabling integration across the Foundation’s work. She also focuses on emerging issues that face the Foundation, including how to strengthen and track ongoing advancement toward the Foundation’s mission.

Before joining the Foundation, Ms. Freireich was an associate partner at Monitor Institute, a social sector strategy consulting practice. She collaborated with mission-driven leaders to help teams and strategies achieve greater impact collectively than they could individually.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Freireich worked as a special assistant to the chief operating officer at Save the Children, the international humanitarian aid organization, and as a portfolio manager at the venture philanthropy fund New Profit Inc. In addition, she spent time as a strategy consultant in Monitor Group’s commercial practice, advising clients on marketing, operations, and organizational dynamics.

Ms. Freireich received a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
