Janie leads special projects, including the Communities Thrive Challenge, for the Justice & Opportunity team at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI). Prior to joining CZI in 2016, she was a newspaper reporter in Washington, D.C. covering influence and advocacy for Roll Call and The New York Times. She has also worked in the financial and technology industries as an analyst and project manager.
