Ije Ikoku brings over 20 years of experience in the fields of Infrastructure Finance, Project Development and Operations in the Power sector. She is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, overseeing Financial Operations, Product Innovation and Strategy. Prior to this she was a Founding Team member and CFO of CECAfrica, a multi-country infrastructure investment platform established to develop, finance and operate power projects across Sub Saharan Africa.
She also worked as a Senior Investment Officer at the World Bank/IFC where she spent 7 years covering investments in Africa and Latin America, and structuring infrastructure transactions in excess of US$2.5 billion.
Ije is a Tutu Fellow and holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
