Gustavo Bernal Torres

Founder, TerraBlanca Impact Capital

Gustavo Bernal Torres, the inaugural recipient of The Rockefeller Foundation & Kellogg School of Management Sustainable Investing Fellowship, is the founder of TerraBlanca Impact Capital. As an investment manager and social entrepreneur, he attempts to solve major social and environmental problems through innovative financial instruments in post-conflict regions.

Prior to founding TerraBlanca, Mr. Bernal Torres worked as a business consultant in Singapore and as a portfolio manager with over USD300M+ in assets under management in Colombia. He started his career working in financial regulation but later focused on managing fixed income portfolios and alternative investments when working with real estate and forestry private equity funds.

Mr. Bernal Torres received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and an MBA from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
