Guilherme Gomes Lencastre

Head of Infrastructure and Networks Brazil, Enel

Guilherme Lencastre was appointed Head of Infrastructure and Networks Brazil in October 2018. He has been leading four distribution companies and one transmission line for São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Ceará, Goiás, and Cien (17 million customers). He joined Enel Group in 1998 in the financial area at Endesa Generation Brazil. There, Guilherme worked as Finance Manager until 2003 when he became CFO of Endesa Cachoeira, Endesa Cien, and Endesa Fortaleza Power Plants. In 2008, before the acquisition by Enel, he was appointed as CEO at these same companies. From 2014 to 2018, Guilherme was Head of Business Development of Global Infrastructure and Networks Americas and participated in the acquisition of the two Discos Celg-D and Eletropaulo.
