William conceives and coordinates Power for All campaigns, including jobs, agriculture and healthcare, and also oversees all communications and partner engagement. He has been working at the intersection of climate solutions and integrated marketing and communications for nearly two decades. William started and built the cleantech practice at Weber Shandwick (a mutli-PR Global Agency of the Year winner and part of NYSE: IPG), where he advised multinationals, innovative start-ups and coalitions on brand, content strategy, advocacy, digital and social media and reputation management.
His award-winning work included innovators engaged in solar, wind, clean cooking, electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, clean water, biofuels and green building. Previously, he was executive director of a non-profit absorbed by Mercy Corps., and an entrepreneur who co-founded several companies, including a film production studio and a digital marketing agency. He was also a foreign correspondent and editor for many years in China, and still contributes regularly to leading media outlets.
