Since joining The Rockefeller foundation in late 2020, Chianda has worked closely with the Food and Power & Climate initiative teams in developing the strategy for demand and enterprise development focusing on the productive use of DRE and the ag-energy nexus. Chianda brings experience from management consulting having worked in One Acre Fund’s internal consulting team supporting several country programs and Open Capital Advisors advising impact investors, development partners, and social enterprises. His work spanned multiple sectors including financial services, agriculture, manufacturing, and renewable energy with a focus on impacting underserved communities across SSA. Chianda is from Nairobi and holds an MSc in Business Analytics from Loughborough University, UK and a Bachelors in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University, Kenya.
