Britt Lake

Chief Executive Officer, Feedback Labs

A founding member of Feedback Labs in 2014, Britt joined the organization as CEO in April 2019, where she works to make listening the norm in aid, philanthropy, nonprofits, and government. Prior to this role, Britt was a member of the executive team at GlobalGiving, the world’s first and largest global crowdfunding community. During her 12 years at GlobalGiving, Britt helped grow the organization to raise $400 million in support of thousands of community-led organizations in 170+ countries. She also built and directed the Disaster Recovery Network at GlobalGiving, which granted millions of dollars in small grants to local groups working to rebuild their communities after natural disasters and humanitarian crises.

Britt has worked at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and with a variety of nonprofits throughout sub-Saharan Africa. She holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead-Cain Scholar, a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Cape Town (South Africa), and a Master’s in Public Affairs from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School.
