Amy Auguston

Former Director, Program Influence

Amy Auguston has more than 15 years of experience in communications, policy, and advocacy for international organizations, foundations, and non-profits. As Director of Program Influence, Amy develops communications, campaigns and influence strategies to advance the goals of the Foundation’s Health and Food Initiatives.

Prior to joining The Rockefeller Foundation, Amy worked with organizations including the UN World Food Programme, United Nations Foundation, International Rescue Committee, and Human Rights Watch. She has lived and worked widely across the US, Europe, and sub-Saharan Africa. A native of New York, Amy holds a master’s degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Uweza Foundation, which supports vulnerable women and children in Kibera, the largest slum in Nairobi, Kenya.
