Aidan has unique expertise in national and regional strategic thinking through his involvement in scenario-building projects entitled ‘Kenya at the Crossroads’ (1999), ‘Tutafika Tanzania’ (2003), ‘South Africa 2020’ (2004), ‘Nigeria 2025’ (2007), the ‘East African Scenarios’ (2006-8) and the ‘Kenya Referendum Scenarios’ (2010). He is a Principal Author of the State of East Africa Report series (2006-2013) and has published several reports, articles and chapters on national and regional economic policy.
