Sarah Troup joined the Rockefeller Foundation in 2006. Sarah had two primary jobs at the Foundation.
As Associate Director, Portfolio Management, Ms. Troup supported the Director of Portfolio Management and Organizational Performance, providing a strategic management role in facilitating decisions related to our work and progress toward institutional goals. She designed key decision-making meetings, led the development of analytic tools to inform portfolio-level choices and provided counsel on what teams are learning in order to identify linkages across our work and help ensure the Foundation’s success.
Ms. Troup also supported the Foundation’s work on Digital Jobs Africa. In this capacity, she managed relationships with current and prospective grantees throughout the grantmaking process, coordinated Foundation work with partners, and conducted research in support of the strategic development and execution of Foundation work.
Ms. Troup received a bachelor’s degree from New York University and received a master’s degree in International Educational Development from Columbia University.
