Jereme Bivins joined The Rockefeller Foundation in October 2013. As a senior program associate, Jereme worked with the Director, Initiatives and Strategy on developing the Foundation’s cross-sectoral partnerships with the public and private sectors, as well as managing its global program team. Based in New York, Nairobi, and Bangkok, this team developed strategies and executes initiatives around the world in support of the Foundation’s goals of building resilience and inclusive economies.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Jereme was the digital strategy & emerging media manager for the Foundation Center, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing knowledge about philanthropy worldwide. While there, Jereme focused on the development and implementation of a national digital strategy to communicate the work of the Center, its partners, and the sector. He was also a co-organizer of New York City’s Nonprofit Technology Club (501 Tech), which hosts monthly educational and networking events for nonprofit professional in the metro area; the vice chair of NTEN: The Nonprofit Technology Network’s board; and a speaker and contributor to various conferences and media outlets.
Jereme received his bachelor’s degree in political science and biology from Elmira College and his master’s of bioethics (MBE) from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
