Randall's Island Park Exhibit

Award Winner's New Play 

The New York Times reviews The Foundry Theater's "Pins and Needles," a new play about working people’s struggles, running at the Irondale Center in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. The play was funded through a 2010 NYC Cultural Innovation Fund award.

The NYC Cultural Innovation Fund supported HERE Arts Center in creating MADE HERE, an online documentary series examining the real-life experiences of performing artists living and working in NYC.

Mute Button on Prospect Park

The Guggenheim Museum, a grantee of the NYC Opportunities Fund, has commissioned a series of public performances and installations throughout New York City to identify, create or transform moments of stillness and quiet in the city. “Mute Button on Prospect Park” is arranged by actors from Improv Everywhere. Watch their recent creative intervention in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
